Step 3 Get Active

We will play and be physically active and reduce time sitting in front of a tv, computer or device.

When your family members get active, they develop habits that last a lifetime. Look for ways to limit your screen time and have one hour of physical activity each day, here are some great suggestions:

  1. Take family  walks around the neighborhood or on local trails 
  2. Play at local parks
  3. Join sports leagues
  4. Jump rope
  5. Ride a bike 
  6. Turn on music and dance
  7. Take the stairs
